What can I submit?
You can submit one essay or examination response within the word limit of your purchased package. Please include the original question or assignment brief and any relevant assessment criteria.
Can I submit handwritten work?
Yes. Clear photographs or scans of handwritten essays are welcome, provided all pages are legible and submitted in the correct order.
Will I receive a mark or grade?
Where appropriate, feedback may include an indicative mark or grade against relevant assessment criteria. This is intended to support your understanding of your writing and does not guarantee an official examination or assignment result.
How long will my feedback take?
Feedback is normally returned within three working days of receiving your complete submission. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England.
Do I need to book a tutoring session?
No. The Essay Clinic is a standalone feedback service. You can purchase a review and submit your work without committing to ongoing tuition.
What if my essay exceeds the word limit?
Please select the package that covers the length of your essay. If your submission exceeds the purchased word limit, Brae Education will contact you before beginning the review to discuss the available options and any additional cost.
Can I submit university assignments or coursework?
University assignments can be reviewed where external academic feedback is permitted by your institution. Brae Education provides developmental feedback and does not complete or rewrite assessed work. School or college coursework subject to specific supervision or authentication rules may not be eligible.
How long do I have to submit my essay after purchasing?
Each Essay Clinic purchase remains valid for three months. Your essay must be submitted within this period.
